Shabby Chic upcycling

It had seen better days, was really getting in the way and had definitely served it’s purpose. I’m talking about the 1930s bedside cabinet which I had painted in vibrant blue and farmyard pig pink for the nursery.

I can’t take all the credit for the DIY, however I can for the styling! Here’s the final result, complete with vintage, embroidered curtain and Victorian-style stencil on a shabby chic pebble-grey painted background. I already had the materials used so the only cost was for the curtain wire and hooks at a whopping £2.19! 😉
