Recycling for charity

Here’s an extract from a newsletter extract from a place I used to spend a lot of time at:
Katrine has been with with the organisation for an impressive 13 years! So it’s fair to say that charity fundraising is in her veins & her passion for helping good causes doesn’t stop when she leaves work. Her shopping spree at her local Cancer Research UK shop was for the purpose of finding materials for a creative project that she had in mind which would benefit the charity even further, she chose some brightly coloured scarves to craft into beautiful heart shaped wreaths & as you can see from the pictures below they turned out beautifully.

Possibly the best part of this project is that Katrine has donated the wreaths back to the same shop that she bought the scarves from so that Cancer Research UK will get double the benefit from the original donation & have something truly unique & beautiful to help them stand out to shoppers.

Recycling at it’s best & for a great cause too!
