A bit early I know, but my thoughts are already turning to Halloween. I’ve been intrigued by Halloween ever since I was a child, when dressed as Pippi Longstocking  with a wig made out of my mum’s old tights and her lipstick painted on in red circles over my cheeks, I went “guising” with a gang of pals in different guises. Perhaps that’s why they call it guising in Scotland, rather than trick or treating? Anyway, I still find it a creative time of the year, no matter how old I am. Any excuse to get dressed up and have treats!
