Aventures of the Masked Canary

Creativity breeds creativity

I was so inspired by the #showthelove cake decoration project I did that I decided to develop it further and use another medium. The cake was greatly appreciated by the family and hopefully they actually noticed the imagery and message before polishing it off!

I used a wire-shaped heart as the base for a rag wreath which was a tied on with a selection of hand-dyed green cottons and some pretty remnants from another textile project.

The starting point for both these projects was in fact inspired by a photo of a little mossy heart found in nature.
